This event has been a regular on our calendar for the past five years, and it was lovely to be working again with my photography associate, Paul Fears of paulfearphoto.co.uk 

The annual lunch was organised by the Concrete Society and held in conjunction with the Wooden Spoon at their new venue Cardiff Arms Park in Cardiff City Centre.

This year’s guests were England and British and Irish Lions Legends Jason Leonard and Simon Shaw. We love photographing this event as it is always a wonderful, usually hilariously funny gathering of such greats of the Rugby field, all ably managed by the regular host Sean Holley.

The event raises money for the Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby, to fund projects for children with disabilities across the UK and Ireland. The event total this year was over 26 thousand pounds, which is amazing and is going to be a hard act to follow next year.
