Concrete Society Wales 10th Anniversary Autumn Lunch Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing the Concrete Society Wales Region’s 10th Anniversary Autumn Lunch. The event was held in partnership with the Wooden Spoon Charity, which supports children through rugby. This was the tenth time I have photographed this event with my colleague Paul Fears, and it is always one of the highlights of the year.

A Day Full of Energy and Connection

The afternoon was full of laughter, energy, and connection. Guests and volunteers came together to celebrate a decade of the event. There was a live auction, heads and tails, and plenty of opportunities for everyone to catch up and share stories. Rugby legends Lawrence Dallaglio OBE and Neil Back MBE added a special touch by sharing their experiences and inspiring the room.

Photographing events like this is about more than taking pictures. It is about capturing moments, atmosphere, and the people who make it special. From the guests’ warmth to the volunteers’ dedication, every detail tells a story.

Returning to this event each year is always a privilege. Capturing the energy and spirit of the Concrete Society Wales Autumn Lunch alongside Paul is one of the highlights of my work as a professional event photographer in Wales.
