This is the third year that Paul Fears and I, under our Double Take Photography brand photographed the Lord Mayors Charity Ball in Porthcawl. The event took place at the stunning Grand Pavilion which is right on the seafront of the popular coastal town.

This years event theme was the movies, and the star of the event was an American 1958 Chevrolet which greeted all the guests on their arrival. Most guests chose to have their photographs taken with the car but we also had a portable studio in the foyer which was available for the guests to have their photographs taken. At these type of events, we provide on the night printing and we donate £2 per photograph sold to the chosen Charity of the Lord Mayors Ball, which is a great way for these type of events to raise funds for their chosen local charities.
